Access isn’t enough.
Design for engagement

Guests with disabilities deserve more than just to get in the door. Every guest experience should be designed to provide understanding and engagement for all abilities.

Our Story

Boy Exploring Elements

Iyamoon was founded by Hayley, who left her role in themed entertainment to support her son with learning difficulties.

Through her work and personal experience, she saw first-hand how powerful the right communication approach can be in unlocking understanding, expression, and meaningful engagement.

What became clear was this: accessibility alone is not enough.

She realised that many of the spaces she used to work in are physically accessible, but their content is often difficult to understand or interact with for guests with communication and understanding differences, creating a huge barrier to true participation.

Working with customer facing venues, Iyamoon helps design experiences that go beyond access, creating opportunities for every guest to understand, engage, and take part in meaningful ways.

Services

Re-engage

We help make current guest experiences more accessible without changing their creative intent. Our solutions sit alongside what already exists, ensuring that more guests can engage in a meaningful way.

Design

We support the design phase to embed accessibility and inclusive communication into new experiences. Ensuring engagement is considered early and delivered in a creative and engaging way for all users.

Flow

We create joined-up communication across your entire venue. From arrival to exit, guests with learning and language disabilities can follow, understand, and fully experience the journey.
